Here’s an update with results for the first quarter using SSP picks. The way I’m managing this account, using the SSP picks, can be found elsewhere in the forum. From Jul 23 2007 to Oct 22 2007 Return on initial capital: 18.8% Return on closed trades: -0.5% Return on open positions: 24.3% Annualized return: 75% Return if all stops hit: 5.9% Peak return: 27.2% Stops hit: none Portfolio @ risk (hitting all stops): 11% To see how volatile these numbers can be, even after 3 months, consider these results the following day: From Jul 23 2007 to Oct 23 2007 Return on initial capital: 22.9% Return on open positions: 29.4% Annualized return: 91% Portfolio @ risk (hitting all stops): 14% (rest are the same) Well, not much else to add.
