Most times when I try to outguess SSP I loose. I set a tight stop on VRS and it hit so I sold below SSP. Having learned my lesson I sold GCE at the end of the day as per the SSP and the next day it popped! A tight stop would have beat the SSP's performance. DOAH! I will probably keep trying but the more I lean towards sticking to the SSP actions, the more money I make. Perhaps I have a subconsious need to limit my wealth. HA ha! I did some work on stops, which showed some promise for the basic Price Momentum Weekly system. However there wasn't a good consistent stop for the other (delayed) systems. I haven't done any work on the trades after they end (as per SSP), but I think I might add it to my to-do list.
For now I'm following the system trades as given. If the evidence shows there's advantage to tweaking the exits... well, I'll keep everyone posted. Can't complain too much though. Having lost my only reason to buy GCE I sold for a .01 profit per share. D |
